Heavens beckon,
Spangled gleamings, ebbing, flowing,
Currents of the galaxy --
Silver shining velvet darkness,
Rippled reflections span the sky,
Fill the night with moving waters --
Patterns of the universe.
From the shores of eternity,
To the depths of the infinite,
The Startide rises.
The Startide rises, aye, and I,
And you and all are called to come,
And stare in wonder at the night.
And more: to move and flow and dance and fly
As partners with the endless sky --
